The New Rents of Ipswich Website | 2025
Background: A Trusted Local Brand That Needed a Digital Upgrade
Rents of Ipswich is a long-established, family-run lettings and property management business, deeply rooted in the local community. With decades of experience and a loyal client base, their reputation offline was strong, but their website no longer reflected who they were or how they worked.
Their previous website, built on a standard Property Jungle template, was functional but very limited. It offered only a small number of pages, minimal flexibility, little personality, and very little opportunity to grow organically through content or SEO.

Most importantly, it didn’t tell the story of the people behind the business, something that truly sets Rents apart.
When Pauline and Michaela approached us, the brief was clear:
They wanted “a website that felt human, trustworthy, modern, and future-proof” – while supporting the increasingly complex compliance landscape for landlords and tenants.
The Challenge: From “Off-the-Shelf” to Fully Bespoke
The existing website presented several challenges:
- Limited content & poor SEO foundations
There was very little scope for adding in-depth pages, guidance content, or blogs – all essential for organic search growth. - No team personality
The people behind Rents are central to the business, yet the website gave visitors no sense of who they were or how they worked. - Lack of tenant & landlord guidance
With major legislative change on the horizon (including the Renters’ Rights BAct), the site needed to clearly educate and reassure both landlords and tenants. - No clear content strategy
The website wasn’t set up to grow over time with blogs, FAQs, compliance updates, or internal linking.
Our goal was not just to “refresh” the site, but to turn it into a proper lettings platform – one that supports trust, education, lead generation, and long-term SEO.
The Process: Strategy, Content & Collaboration
A Bespoke Structure Built Around Real Users
We started by completely rethinking the site structure, creating clear, dedicated sections for:
- Landlords
- Tenants
- Compliance & legal responsibilities
- FAQs for both audiences
- Blog & guidance content
- Team profiles and company values
Every page was planned with real user questions in mind [having been in the industry for over 3 decades, I know exactly what those questions are and how to answe them!] The website was now going to mirror exactly what landlords worry about, what tenants really ask, and what Google needs in order to rank the site properly – everything answered correctly!
Content That Does the Heavy Lifting

Rather than asking the Rents team to write content themselves, we handled the full content creation process.
This included:
- In-depth compliance pages
- Tenant and landlord FAQs
- Clear guidance on deposits, repairs, notice periods, and fair wear & tear
- Blog articles focused on Ipswich, lettings law, and landlord education
- Social media Instagram posts showcased
All content was written in plain English, designed to be reassuring rather than intimidating, and optimised using Rank Math Pro, ensuring every page launched with strong SEO foundations.
📈 All pages were built with “green” Rank Math scores from day one
Bringing the Brand to Life Visually
To avoid over-reliance on stock imagery, we worked with Patricia at Image2Photography to capture professional, natural photography of the team and local Ipswich settings. Find out more about Patricia’s services here.
This helped ground the website in place and personality, reinforcing Rents’ role as a genuinely local business
We also coordinated a VideoAsk “Meet & Greet” shoot – making sure that the videos were designed around the new pages, giving visitors clear navigation and the chance to see and hear from the team directly. This is something that has proven incredibly popular and effective for building trust and giving a real sense of personality to the site.
Development & Functionality
Working alongside our website colleagues FL1 Digital, the website was built as a fully bespoke platform that allows the Rents team to:
- Easily add and update content
- Publish new blog posts
- Publish landing pages to run ad campaigns to, with data capture forms
- Update compliance information as legislation changes
- Manage pages without relying on developers
Key functionality, such as repair reporting, property search, valuation booking, and compliance downloads, were all integrated seamlessly into the user journey. In fact, every page has a clear call to action, with emails going directly to the right team member, or seamless WhatsApp messaging to the business phone.
SEO, Google & Organic Growth
A major focus of this project was ensuring the site was properly indexed and understood by Google from launch.
Using Rank Math Pro and a carefully planned internal linking strategy, we ensured:
- Every page had a clear SEO purpose
- Blog content supported core service pages
- Compliance and FAQ content answered real search queries
Just one month after launch, Google has already indexed the full site, and blog content is generating strong early organic traffic which is a clear sign that the foundations are working.
The Results: A Website That Finally Matches the Business
Since launch, the feedback from the Rents team has been overwhelmingly positive.
✔ A website that finally reflects who they are
✔ Clear guidance for landlords and tenants
✔ A growing library of SEO-friendly content
✔ Strong early performance in organic search
✔ A platform ready for future legislative change
Most importantly, the site now feels like Rents of Ipswich – not a generic template.
Before & After: A Transformation Worth Seeing
The contrast between the old Property Jungle site and the new bespoke platform is striking – not just visually, but strategically.
Why This Project Matters
This website wasn’t about chasing trends or flashy design. It was about building a long-term digital asset that supports trust, compliance, and growth in a fast-changing lettings landscape.
With the Renters’ Rights Bill on the horizon, Rents of Ipswich is now digitally prepared – with content, structure, and systems that can adapt as legislation evolves.
