What is a Landing Page?
Bolt-on Landing Pages are website pages that are designed with a single focused objective:
Call to Action (CTA)
In digital marketing, a landing page is a standalone web page, which is created specifically for the purposes of a marketing or advertising campaign. It’s where a visitor “lands” when they have clicked on a Facebook Sponsored Ad, a Google AdWords Ad or similar. If you have a Social Angels WordPress website, then we can make these for you easily and quickly (usually 48-hour turn-around M-F).
- Each landing page design / content £270 + VAT
- Each thank-you page £57 + VAT
-
CLEAR MESSAGE
This will match the Ad Campaign you are running, the potential customer will not be distracted or confused by the page they land on, it will clearly mirror the ad and give a set call to action.
-
CALL TO ACTION
The landing page will have one function, to get the information you require from the potential customer and so the data capture form will be clear, concise and immediately visible on the page.
-
SOCIAL PROOF
If the potential customer wants more information, this page is where you put the details in a simple form and give social proof, in the form of relevant testimonials from happy clients.
This simplicity of the landing page is what makes it the best option for increasing the conversion rates of your campaigns by ensuring that your ‘potential customer’ does not get distracted! This will ultimately reduce the cost per lead. If you do not have a Social Angels WordPress website you will need to:
- Have a bolt-on landing page website added to your own site (see below).
- or ask your own website supplier to build you the relevant functionality and make the pages for you.
We can build you an outstanding landing page template that you can clone and amend easily for each of your Sponsored Ads Programme on Facebook and Instagram. The URLs will be traceable, you will also have click-through ‘thank you’ templates to track anyone who triggers your ad ‘goals’ allowing you to fully calculate your ad ROI.
For a one-off fee, you will have an amazing WordPress bolt-on template with a standard landing page template that you can then CLONE for all of your ads. The page will have all of the functionality that comes with WordPress Websites, allowing you to increase your SEO through keywords, in order to assist with your organic traffic.
Once you have a WordPress site you will NOT look back!

STANDARD WEBSITE PAGE VS. LANDING PAGE
To fully understand the difference between a landing page, and the other pages on your website, such as your homepage, it’s important to consider the differences between organic search traffic and paid search traffic.

Organic vs. Paid Search Traffic
When asking the question, “What is a landing page?” you need to understand that they are designed for paid traffic like Facebook Sponsored Ads or Google Adwords. If you do a Google Search you will see Paid Results at the top of the page, they will have (AD) in the title.
There will usually be a box underneath which could have detailed information about your search, a map or an information box. Under that you will see the Organic Search. This is information that Google picks up from your digital profiles, online reviews, your website and social media platforms. You should always aim to be on Page One and you do this by creating unique, informative content on your profile pages, that Google associates with your business activities!
The main reason for having a dedicated landing page for a targeted promotion is to ensure your visitors are focused on a single objective that matches the intent of the ad that they clicked on to reach your page.
If you consider the example of sending traffic to your homepage vs. a standalone landing page, you can understand that your homepage is designed with a more general purpose in mind. It will have a lot of content and a variety of options to choose from. It speaks more to your overall brand and corporate values and is typically loaded with links and navigation to other areas of your site.
Every link on your page that doesn’t represent your conversion goal is a distraction that will dilute your message and reduce your conversion rate.
